Pendleton renovated the former 1909
railway station into a
beautiful museum with two galleries.
The
Heritage Station Museum
features displays about the history of Umatilla County, including pioneer
life, The Oregon Trail, Pendleton Woolen Mills, railroad, communication items, and Artifacts’ used by Indian tribes,
explorers, trappers and early pioneers.
It is located on
beautifully landscaped grounds with a caboose and homestead, and 19th
century school house. Enjoy your visit as you are sure to
learn a lot about the history of Umatilla County.
Located in downtown Pendleton, just a block from Main Street. From
1-84 exit 210, drive north toward Pendleton's City Center. Turn left
at Court Avenue and left again on Southwest 2nd. Continue on SW 2nd
into the Museum parking lot.

The Museum’s regular hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Tuesday thru
Saturday. Admission is $5.00 for adults, $2.00 for students, $4.00
for Seniors, $10.00 for a family, members are free
